Juniors

We operate a vibrant junior section, and the Club welcomes players of all abilities.

At the end of 2011 Crowborough Beacon was awarded GolfMark, an official quality standard from the National Governing bodies of Golf in England. The Junior Academy is for youngsters wishing to learn the rudiments and etiquette of playing golf. Beginners can play and gain a handicap on the shorter Conan Doyle course. For the more experienced juniors, we operate a weekly Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter stableford League, and home and away matches with many Sussex Clubs.

In 2011, as part of our initiative to broaden our junior fixtures, we arranged further challenges and competitions. A 2-day Junior Club Championship, a Schools Invitational and a Junior Captains Day. This is in addition to regular medal and stableford Shield and Cup competitions throughout the year, and our Daily Telegraph/Abu Dhabi Junior Open Qualifier.
