The following conditions apply:-
1 In order to take
up the opportunity of a courtesy round/reduced green fee the member must first
of all contact the Secretary of the Club to be visited to arrange a suitable
date and time, checking also what, if any green fee is payable.
2 Once the date
and time is confirmed by the Host Club, the member must then obtain a handicap
certificate and a letter of introduction from the CBGC Secretary’s Office, to
furnish the Host Club on arrival.
3 All dress rules of the Host Club must be
complied with. If a green fee is requested this must be paid before play.
Etiquette and any Host Club rules regarding format of play must be complied with
at all times.
4 It is only courtesy that the visitor contact the Host Club prior
to travel to ensure that the arrangements made remain available.
5 Note: only
Crowborough Beacon members will be afforded the above facilities, no other
guests will be allowed unless the Host Club agrees and only then on payment of
the full visitors green fee.
Additional Reciprocal Arrangements
In addition to
the 1895 Club, courtesy of the course is also extended to Crowborough Beacon
members at: Ham Manor Golf Club, West Sussex. Up to 4 members on any one day
(Monday to Friday only excluding Bank Holidays) by prior arrangement through the
CBGC Secretary’s Office. Reading Golf Club, Berkshire. Up to 4 members on any
one day (Monday to Friday only) by prior arrangement through the CBGC
Secretary’s Office. Romsey Golf Club, Hampshire. Up to 4 members on any one day
(Monday to Friday only) by prior arrangement through the CBGC Secretary’s
