House Manager, Richard Townsend, and his team offer a comfortable restaurant and clubhouse area with superb food where the emphasis is on homemade. Soups are made from fresh, seasonal vegetables sourced locally. Meats, particularly for the Speciality Carveries, are provided by a high class, local butcher. The puddings are so spectacular that the members have a monthly gathering called the Pudding Club. They feel that playing 18 holes of golf justifies a gastronomic feast of savoury and sweet puddings.
No feast would be complete without a glass or two. A well stocked wine cellar and one of best beer cellars Richard has ever worked with ensure quality drinks are served in top condition. Always on tap is the ever popular Harvey's Best, brewed in Lewes, but also we have a different guest beer every month.
