Golfer & Non Golfer Rules

Format Overview

• Teams consist of one golfer and one non-golfer.


• The golfer plays the hole from the tee through to the green.


• Once the ball reaches the green, the non-golfer takes over and putts out until the ball is holed.

How a Hole Is Played

1. The golfer tees off and plays the hole normally.


2. The golfer continues hitting shots (tee shot, fairway shot, chip, etc.) until the ball reaches the putting green.


3. Once the ball is on the green, the non-golfer takes the putter.


4. The non-golfer then putts until the ball is holed.


5. The total strokes taken by both players count as the team’s score for the hole.

Scoring

• The team records the combined number of strokes taken to complete the hole.


• Example:




• Golfer: 4 shots to reach the green


• Non-golfer: 2 putts


• Total score = 6
