Crowborough Beacon Golf Club

Pannal Golf Club links with Crowborough Beacon

Upon his move back to Harrogate earlier this year, our very own 2010 Crowborough Beacon Club Captain Patrick Burke rejoined his former club, Pannal and subsequently had the idea of creating a reciprocal scheme with Crowborough.

Pannal is the only course in Harrogate and North Yorkshire recognised by the R&A as an Open qualifier venue and in July 2015 co-hosted the English Amateur Championship with Alwoodley GC.

Another Alister Mackenzie influenced layout, Pannal provides an enjoyable and challenging test for any keen golfer. It is an 18-hole, SSS Par 72 6,614 yards layout, lying in woodland and heathland with outstanding views of Harrogate and surrounding areas. The signature 17th hole provides the most stunning view of all.

Following agreement by the Board of Directors at each club, Crowborough Beacon members can now play here at the guest green fee (check website for current fees which vary throughout the season). Ranked as Harrogate’s best golf course, should you be planning a trip to Yorkshire and would like to play at the reduced rate, please contact the Club Secretary.
