Coaching Academy

Membership of the Crowborough Beacon Golf Coaching Academy offers men and women of all ages the opportunity to learn golf on one of the best courses in Britain.

A key feature of Coaching Academy membership is the 12 group lessons with our PGA Professional, Dennis Newnham. Lessons are held on Saturdays throughout the year and members can choose when they attend. Dennis also provides a similar Academy for Juniors with activities focussed around school holidays.

The lessons can start with the basic fundamentals for beginners but, for golfers returning to the game, something a little more advanced is offered. The lessons include:

• grip, stance and posture
• use of Driver, Fairway Woods and Irons
• chipping and pitching
• putting
• rules of golf & etiquette
• marking a score card
• getting a handicap

Subscription for 2012 - £250 includes lessons, twelve rounds on the Conan Doyle course and membership of the Club
